Building, redesigning and renovation is a passion, not an end goal we are working towards.
Okey, swiping dust or putting up tape for painting isn’t all that fun - but I am pretty sure we will always find projects to do here. When there is not more things to build or renovate we can always redecorate 😉

The pillow - this is one of those projects that gave me peace in mind but also made me completely crazy!
However, got back my love for sawing and have a sense this is the first of many future sawing projects 😍

We got waaaaater in the kitchen which was an incredible feeling! The last 7 months we have been without water in the kitchen so to be able to cook is something that we have dreamt of for a long time!

We have not had water since September and we can not wait until the construction work on the building is done!

We did a little compilation of when we were workin

We did a little compilation of when we were working on this weekends project. Hope you like it even if we can’t show the final result yet as this is still in progress💃
They are fixing the pipes in our building and as part of this they took down all the walls and roof covering the pipes. So we very spontaneously decided to go with the flow and open up for a brick wall!
We are excited to see what this turns out to be 😝

These are the cabinets that we have over our bed and they are from the kitchen department as we couldn’t find any regular cabinets in the perfect size.
Haha as they are placed over the bed we were so nervous that we wouldn’t secure it enough when hanging them up so we added EXTREMELY many screws…
With this I just wanted to say, don’t be afraid to be a open minded and look around in unexpected places when you are in search for something!

I’m so in love with how our office is coming tog

I’m so in love with how our office is coming together! From a wild idea, where Nicolai and myself were talking about that we might be able to have a brick wall in the apartment, to this?! We even have the glass wall I’ve always dreamt off!
When doing renovations on your own, it is so easy to forget where you started and just keep looking for the next project. Often the projects also become more advanced or courageous and we forget how much we actually have accomplished.
Being forced to take a break of fixing the apartment has given us perspective and I am so incredibly happy that we have the chance to experiment as we do!

Concrete and just nice pots in general are just so expensive so I thought, why not try and do it ourselves!
This @oneroomchallenge is so great as it makes us get closer to the dream office! Now I only need to find a good plate to go with it.
